BILLING OFFICER - AUDIT DELIVERY ACADEMY
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Billing Officer to offer business support in terms of billing of client engagements in our Practice Management System.As a member of our team, you will contribute actively to enhanced data quality of our Practice Management System through transaction processing and through transaction controls. From time to time, you will monitor controls are to be performed.
Responsibilities:
To generate all invoices/credit notes/close-outs specific to client accounts/engagement letters/contracts/internal policies
To deliver invoices to clients via digital mail services or via upload to payment platforms. Monitor cost allocation proportionate to the billing process.
To closely monitor job management (close or suspend jobs, Time transfers, “Work-in-progress” write-off, write-on, close outs,).
To support an accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.
To communicate with internal and external clients to collect documentation for invoicing, inputting, and processing transactions
To contribute to enhanced data quality by regularly updating job records according to information from the business.
To execute routine data back-up procedures.
To understand and apply administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
To contribute to the realization of a centralized and automated billing process.
To support the onboarding of new internal clients on the central billing process.
To help execute test plans for new releases of IT systems.
To perform other ad hoc administrative duties.
Other:
The position is supervised by the Billing Officer (manager).
The position will require you to learn a custom system (STAR system).
The position has a high degree of standardized procedures that should be learned.
Work is mostly remote, but candidate should be expected to come to the office once a week on a regular basis.
Candidate will work within an international team exclusively. However, candidate will be expected to report also to Romanian stakeholder.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Office Management, Accounting, or a related field).
Proven experience in a similar work environment is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge about basic VAT.
A detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Knowledge of our PMS is an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of English. Any other languages as French or German is considered as an asset.

AUDIT PROJECT BASED ROLE

How does it work?
Generally, we contract people to support our audit teams from September to May, but the period and the length of the contract will much depend on your availability.
Our aim is to develop a long term relationship and commit each year on a certain number of hours.
After passing a screening process, we will agree the methodology and the tools to be used and you will be allocated on jobs where you will collaborate with KPMG experienced professional.
You will have the freedom to keep other assignments at the same time and your independence as freelancer.
We are open to any type of legal background: SRL, PFI, PFA, limited period labor contract, etc.
What are we looking for?
Audit professionals (both commercial and Financial Services background) who want to work project based with us.
Knowledge of the Romanian Accounting
Standards and International Financial
Reporting Standards.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to produce high quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian.
High ethics and independence standards.
ACCA/CAFR certification is a plus.
